Job summary

Cherokee Millwright is seeking a Multi-Craft Millwright to join our Operations team. The role involves installing, dismantling, or moving machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans and blueprints. You will be cross-trained across trades such as millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and sheet metal to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Examine objects, systems, or facilities and determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines and move machinery with hoists, dollies, rollers, and forklifts.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
• Align machines and equipment to specified clearances using measuring tools.
