Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Craft Millwright Foreman to lead field teams in installing, dismantling, and moving machinery per blueprints and rigging plans. You will oversee 1–12 crew members, coordinate schedules, and ensure accurate alignment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools. A strong background in millwrighting and cross-training across trades is expected as part of our hands-on approach. This role is onsite with a focus on safety and quality.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
Experience with multiple trades and supervision of crew preferred.
Familiarity with blueprints, rigging plans, and layout drawings helpful.
Responsibilities
Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities.
Monitor crew performance and safety on the job site.
Read blueprints and schematics to plan installations or repairs.
Dismantle, move, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
Align and level machinery using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
Train and mentor workers; ensure safety and compliance.
