Job summary

GenPak is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour shift to maintain all equipment and building systems, including extrusion/thermoforming machinery. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, welding, and problem solving to ensure high uptime.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repair, and startup/shutdown procedures, coordinate with Shift Supervisor, and follow safety programs and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED) and 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience with welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls.
• Ability to read schematics and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all shift assignments with Shift Supervisor at start of shift.
• Provide and maintain appropriate tools and toolbox to perform all necessary job functions.
• Perform preventive maintenance/safety programs per defined schedule with accurate documentation.
• Repair and setup extrusion and thermoforming machinery to standards set.
• Maintain building systems including plumbing, roof, silos, trenches, HVAC, doors, chiller.
