Job summary

Inteplast Group seeks a Sr. 1 Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plastic extrusion lines and related machinery. The role covers mechanical and electrical work on blown film extrusion lines, conveying and winding systems, and multi-lane bag equipment with Auto Pak integration.

The position requires 1 year of relevant experience, ability to work 12‑hour shifts and weekends, and a strong focus on attendance and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s mechanical and/or electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment or equivalent.
• Ability to work shift work, weekends and 12-hour shifts (day and night).
• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate nonstandard work hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment, multi-lane bag machines with Auto Pak equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on extruders and bag machines according to specifications and procedures.
• Switch over the process air.
• CPR training and safety readiness.
• Train to lift an AutoPak, train to lift a winder.
• Make guards, abs, Lexan.
