Job summary

Genpak is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs on Extruders, Thermoformers, and ancillary systems to production standards. The role requires diagnosing and repairing equipment with minimal supervision, following SQF/GMP safety rules, and maintaining tool inventories.

The candidate should have formal electrical apprenticeship training, strong pneumatic and hydraulic skills, and the ability to train new hires while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
• Experience repairing thermoforming machinery and setting up for production.
• Ability to diagnose and repair plant equipment with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a full complement of tools.
• Lead and train new hires.
• Break down and set up thermoforming machinery to cycle/quality standards.
• Diagnose and repair plant equipment independently.
