Job summary

Unknown Company in the United States seeks a maintenance technician to keep all equipment and the facility in optimal condition. You will work a shift schedule including every other Sunday, manage tools, coordinate tasks with the Shift Supervisor, and perform preventive maintenance with thorough documentation.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, handle extrusion/thermoforming setup, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including welding and troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment and building to good working order and repair as necessary.
• Work the shift schedule which includes every other Sunday.
• Provide and maintain tools and toolbox for all job functions.
• Coordinate assignments with Shift Supervisor at start of shift for uptime and efficiency.
• Assist Shift Supervisor with facility evaluation procedures including machinery shutdown.
• Oversee PM Operator functions for the shift.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatics, electrical controls, and hydraulics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety programs with proper documentation.
• Complete work orders promptly.
• Maintain inventory per Infor and Plant Sanitation standards including tracking parts.
• Set up extrusion and thermoforming machinery to standards, inspect quality and tidy area.
• Understand extrusion/thermoforming processes to maximize production uptime.
• Follow shutdown/startup procedures and perform building repairs (plumbing, roof, etc.).
• Follow Hot Work Permit procedures and ensure documentation is signed off.
