Job summary

Genpak LLC is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic to service and repair production equipment and facility systems on-site. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support GMP-compliant cleaning and upkeep.

Experience with extrusion/thermoforming equipment, reading schematics, and forklift operation is essential. This role requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to work across multiple shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4+ years related work experience.
• Experience maintaining plant machinery and facility systems; welding is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on production lines.
• Repair and maintain extruders, chillers, conveyors, and packaging systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and facilities.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Assist with deep cleaning and GMP-compliant upkeep.
