kept.pro is seeking an accurate and systematic accounting professional in Dallas, TX to support multiple client entities, perform accrual-based bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, and lead the month-end close.

Qualifications

• 4+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field, or bookkeeping certification.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with accrual accounting and month-end close processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience serving multiple clients/entities (5+) across industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting functions within QuickBooks Online and other platforms.
• Determine effects of transactions based on accrual or cash basis.
• Prepare initial drafts of monthly financial statements.
• Lead the month-end close process.
• Maintain Balance Sheet schedules: Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, Fixed Asset Schedule, Payroll liabilities.
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries.
• Complete full cycle duties for A/R and A/P.
• Prepare and review payroll and Sales Tax.
• Primary communications with clients.
• Review team members' work and assist with training/coaching.
• Set up new technology integrations and troubleshoot issues.
• Partner with vendors/platforms to complete accounting operations.
