Job summary

kept.pro is seeking an accurate, systematic team player to apply accounting knowledge and analytical ability to delight clients. You will use QuickBooks Online to perform accrual basis accounting and follow our month-end close process to prepare financial statements for clients.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting (or bookkeeping certification), and comfort working with multiple client entities while communicating

Qualifications

• 4+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; or bookkeeping certification.
• Experience with multiple clients/entities (>5) across diverse industries.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Analytical thinker skilled in problem solving and independent judgment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Enjoys engaging with clients.

Responsibilities

• Performing accounting functions within QuickBooks Online and other platforms.
• Determine effect of transactions based on accrual or cash basis.
• Prepare initial draft of monthly financial statements.
• Lead the month-end close process.
• Maintain Balance Sheet schedules (Prepaid Expenses, Accrued Expenses, etc).
• Prepare and record month-end journal entries.
• Complete full cycle duties for A/R and A/P.
• Prepare and review payroll and Sales Tax.
