Job summary

Anderson Business Advisors in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced bookkeeper to provide high-quality bookkeeping services for multiple clients each month. You will review transaction coding, maintain accurate records, and support the team with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks while building strong client relationships.

Required: 2+ years in QuickBooks (Desktop/Online), Bachelor's in Accounting, solid Excel skills, and experience managing 15+ client accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Moderate knowledge of Excel.
• Experience managing at least 15 client accounts at one time.
• General accounting knowledge (debits and credits).
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience communicating with clients regarding their company financials.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding of new clients and setting expectations.
• Conduct monthly client check-ins to gather documentation and understand needs.
• Schedule and lead consultation meetings with clients.
• Maintain bookkeeping records for various client companies.
• Review client transactions for proper categorization and coding.
• Generate and interpret financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, GL, etc).
• Address past bookkeeping issues to update books.
