Ivy Tech Community College – Anderson and Marion campuses seek an HR Coordinator to provide essential HR support and serve as the first point of contact for staff and campus partners. The role requires regular travel between campuses and involvement in onboarding, payroll, and HRIS data entry using Workday.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or related certification, strong communication skills, and experience in HR or administrative roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or technical/industry certification with substantial related experience.
• In lieu of an associate degree, 3–5 years of relevant HR or administrative experience.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience in an administrative or support role.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; Workday preferred.
• Must travel regularly between the Anderson and Marion campuses to meet HR needs.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly between Anderson and Marion campuses to provide day-to-day HR support and administrative tasks.
• Support the end-to-end hiring process for vacant positions, including screening, scheduling, and coordinating interviews.
• Manage employment verification processes (I-9 and E-Verify) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer contingent hire processes, including onboarding, approvals, and Workday transactions.
• Administer Federal Work-Study processes and related Workday transactions.
• Oversee pre-boarding, onboarding, and orientation for employees, adjuncts, contingent hires, and student workers.
