Job summary

First Community Credit Union in Fargo, ND is seeking a Service Specialist Manager to lead member service and reception across multiple branches. You will supervise staff, drive sales, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate member transactions while modeling FCCU's service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution, including at least one year of cash‑handling experience.
• At least two years of experience leading, training, or supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of consumer and business deposit products, services, and related operational procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems, with strong data entry, navigation, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage member service and reception operations across multiple branch locations to ensure service excellence, sales support, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop assigned branch personnel, fostering a positive, professional, and high‑performing team environment.
• Lead by example in sales and service behaviors by identifying member needs and promoting appropriate products and services.
• Provide daily leadership through work assignment, scheduling, training, performance management, and review of work for accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee branch cash operations and internal controls, including vault security, cash ordering, balancing, audits, and dual control procedures.
• Serve members directly by processing transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
