Consumers Credit Union in Loves Park, IL, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead operations across Loves Park and Mount Morris locations. This role manages 8 direct reports and drives branch sales, service, and member engagement.

The ideal candidate has a track record in banking leadership, people development, and delivering excellent member experiences. The position requires a forward-thinking, collaborative mindset and weekend/extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalency is required.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in business management, customer service, retail.
• 2+ years being in financial services.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Ability to drive between branches for coverage and oversight.
• Flexibility to work full time (40-45 hrs/week) and manage the branch to open, close, and operate according to listed hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch profitability performance including KPIs, market share, competition analysis, and contribution margins.
• Ensure exceptional member experience levels affecting overall satisfaction and NPS.
• Oversee operational efficiencies for cash controls, transaction accuracy, and safety.
• Develop and implement ongoing sales campaigns with marketing and other departments.
• Assess survey results and continuously improve member experience and reduce barriers.
• Monitor metrics via reports and align team goals with results.
• Coach on performance and ensure adherence to standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and policies.
• Lead handling of member escalations and address issues.
• Oversee accurate policies and procedures and communicate changes to the team.
• Oversee staffing levels, budget considerations, and technology adoption for members.
• Provide coaching, onboarding, and career development for staff.
