100Hires, Inc. is seeking a CNC machinist to set up and operate turning and milling centers, interpreting blueprints and CAD models to determine tooling and chop strategy. You will conduct in-process and final inspections, troubleshoot alarms, and maintain documentation for traceability.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC experience on mills and lathes, strong G-code skills, and proficiency in metrology. Safety and organized work areas are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or certification preferred.
• 2+ years working as a CNC machinist on both mills and lathes.
• Solid grasp of CNC programming concepts and G-code edits.
• Comfort with precision metrology (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and GD&T callouts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers to meet engineering specifications.
• Interpret prints, technical drawings, and CAD models to define tooling, workholding, and cut strategy.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot alarms, surface finish issues, and dimensional drift; perform routine maintenance.
• Log part counts, offsets, and process notes for repeatability and traceability.
