Our mission is to help manufactures maintain a competitive advantage in the world economy by improving productivity.Summary of Responsibility:Innovative Machinery Group is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support multi-axis turning operations, ranging from 2-axis tailstock lathes to sub-spindle / Y-axis configurations with the knowledge base to help support the milling department as needed.This is a hands-on role requiring a strong presence on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in developing processes, proving out programs, and supporting operators to ensure efficient, repeatable results in a high-mix, low-volume environment.What You Will Contribute:Lead turning program development for 2,3 and 5 axis lathesDevelop complete machining processes; select the appropriate tooling, speeds/feeds, work holding, machining strategy, and create set-up sheets for production runsInterpret prints and models to create practical, efficient machining approachesWork directly with operators and set-up personnel to support daily production needsSupport frequent job changeovers and provide additional attention to one-off and short-run partsIdentify and implement improvements to cycle times, tool life, and process reliabilityMaintain a master part program librarySupport programming for 3 and 4 axis machining centers as neededOther Functions:Perform related duties as requiredThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
