Job summary

QCMI in San Diego seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to perform end-to-end setups on CNC mills and lathes, dial offsets, and tooling. You will run first articles, perform in-process inspections, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet schedules and specs.

The role requires strong blueprint reading, GD&T proficiency, and shop math skills, with familiarity in aerospace materials and ISO 9001/AS9100 environments. Overtime may be available to support production.

Qualifications

• End-to-end setups on CNC mills and lathes; dial in offsets and tooling.
• Run first articles and in-process inspections to meet GD&T callouts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to hit schedule and spec.
• Make confident program changes at the machining centers.

Responsibilities

• Apply optimal speeds/feeds for diverse materials, including exotic alloys.
• Maintain tooling and read blueprints with GD&T to tolerance stackups.
• Support ISO 9001/AS9100 quality system awareness and compliance.
