Job summary

Comet Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an MSP Engineer II for a fully remote role supporting clients across manufacturing, financial services, and retail with a Microsoft-focused managed services approach.

You will own advanced troubleshooting, act as a technical resource for junior engineers, and help design integrated solutions spanning device management, identity and access management, and network security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an MSP environment or equivalent internal IT
• Strong background in managed services across multi-tenant environments
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 stack: Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online, Defender

Responsibilities

• Own complex incident resolution across assigned accounts
• Act as primary technical contact and guide junior engineers
• Design and implement integrated device management, IAM, and network security solutions
• Write and maintain SOPs and runbooks for MSP tasks
• Document post-incident findings and internal processes
