Disc Medicine in Watertown, MA is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to cover the Mid-Atlantic region. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely or from the headquarters while advancing clinical development programs in hematology and rare diseases.

The MSL will build relationships with KOLs and HCPs, support research publications, and engage in compliant medical information sharing; travel is expected within the territory.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field (PharmD/PhD/MD/DO/DNP or MSc) or equivalent credentials.
• ~3+ years biopharma MSL or field-based medical affairs experience.
• Experience in hematology, dermatology, or rare diseases preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to develop and execute territory medical plans with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a field-based scientific and clinical resource and customer-facing extension of Medical Affairs.
• Identify and develop relationships with academic and community-based KOLs, HCPs, institutions and investigators.
• Engage in compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange on disease state and unmet medical need.
• Support investigator-initiated trials, research collaborations, and expanded access.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform medical strategy.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Medical Information, Market Access and Commercial teams and provide scientific training.
