Job summary

Herzing University in the United States is seeking to fill the MS-CMHC Clinical Director role. This position oversees the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of the practicum and internship fieldwork component to align with CACREP standards and licensing requirements.

The role collaborates with program leadership and faculty on curriculum, assessment, and accreditation activities; develops fieldwork partnerships and agreements; supports students, faculty, and site supervisors;

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial CACREP accreditation process for the MS-CMHC program.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with program chair and faculty.
• Develop partnerships with local and regional agencies for fieldwork placements.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Complete components of the accreditation candidacy application related to fieldwork.
• Provide training and ongoing communication to students, practicum and internship instructors, and site supervisors.
• Oversee student progress and academic processes in fieldwork.
• Act as liaison with state licensing boards.
• Participate in school, college, and university committees.
• All other duties as assigned.
