Smith & Loveless in Lenexa, KS seeks a Production Planner to schedule and load manufacturing orders for sub-assemblies, coordinate shop completion and revisions, and monitor material flow to avoid delays.

Responsibilities include expediting orders, forecasting, and communicating with multiple departments. The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with the Production Control team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in MRP manufacturing environment, expediting a plus.
• Experience reading ledgers, BOMs and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Process jobs from Application Engineering to Design Engineering when complete.
• Implement revisions, substitutions, and backorders accurately.
• Coordinate and follow up between departments to avoid delays.
