Job summary

TRG Staffing Solutions in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Planner with 2+ years of production planning in a manufacturing environment. You will release work orders, develop schedules from sales orders, and expedite components with buyers.

You will also update delivery dates in ERP/MRP, run MRP for release of work orders, and ensure safety policies are followed. Daily ERP scheduling, KPI monitoring, and cross-department coordination are required to optimize resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Releases work orders for production and develops production schedules from sales orders or current demands.
• Analyzes sales orders for missing components and expedites with buyers.
• Updates delivery days to customer service and maintains ERP/MRP data.
• Runs the MRP system for release of work orders.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs: on-time deliveries, late orders, sales compliance, and delivery times.
• Maintain communication with sales and all departments to optimize resources.
• Maintain a stable production program to maximize resource use and productivity.
• Lead activities to fulfill production plans, shipments, receipts and material availability.
• Perform daily maintenance to system parameters for correct MRP demand and inventory control.
• Minimize obsolete finished goods inventory and coordinate to reallocate inventory as needed.
