Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is hiring a General Manager to lead the MRO operation with hands-on accountability for performance, safety, and growth. You will own P&L, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations while guiding a dynamic team through rapid expansion.

As a working leader, you will address bottlenecks, mentor a largely inexperienced workforce, and partner with HR on staffing and capability development to sustain growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams through growth and change.
• Strong operational acumen with hands-on leadership.
• FAA Repairman Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the MRO operation, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead daily operations to ensure on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements.
• Develop and coach a largely inexperienced workforce with structured training and mentorship.
• Partner with HR to address labor challenges and attrition and build bench strength.
