Job summary

Cutter Aviation seeks an experienced MRO General Manager to lead the maintenance operation, oversee projects, and manage resources for safety, legal, and profitability objectives. You will serve as the primary face of Cutter Aviation to the GA market, building strong relationships with piston and turboprop owners/operators.

The role requires strong leadership, deep FAA knowledge, and a focus on On-Time, On-Budget, and First-Time-Right outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory or managerial experience in a FBO or aviation service center environment.
• Proven skills in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Strong customer-centric mindset - ability to translate customer issues into profitable solutions.
• High degree of technical knowledge with respect to FARs and aircraft inspection programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.
• Experience with Continuum Applied Technology or CORRIDOR aviation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance department activities to meet financial targets.
• Assist customers in defining work-scope and guide team to successful project completions.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility for the operation.
• Hire, train, and develop technician staff.
• Ensure facility conforms to Safety Management Systems requirements.
• Ensure FAA documentation is generated and procedures followed.
• Maximize cash cycle from sales order to invoice payment.
• Interface with Marketing to drive high-value solutions and market penetration.
• Meet the three customer satisfaction objectives: On-Time, On-Budget, Completed Right the First Time.
• Budget development aligned with company objectives.
