STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH, is searching for a Buyer (MRO) to coordinate procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, tools, and supplies. The role includes reviewing requisitions and MRPs, and conferring with vendors on price, availability, and delivery schedules.

Essential duties include supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract implementation, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and records.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
• Three-to-five years of professional buying experience in a manufacturing setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mansioni

• Coordinate procurement of commodities from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Analyze commodity requirements, preliminary specs, preferred supplier, and delivery date.
• Solicit and evaluate proposals for the requested commodity.
• Interview potential suppliers to determine if they meet requirements.
• Advise team on the appropriate supplier to use.
• Negotiate the lowest possible cost balancing quality and schedule.
• Implement purchase contracts compliant with company and government regulations.
• Ensure delivery on schedule at negotiated price and quality.
• Maintain timely control of orders, shipping notices, and records.
• Manage inventory liabilities and coordinate cost-effective distribution methods.
• Regularly stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as part of duties.
