Qualifications

  • 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience required.
  • Advanced MRI certification within two years of employment required.

Responsibilities

  • Verify physician orders and procedures.
  • Operate MRI equipment independently following protocols.
  • Review images for quality standards.

Job Summary

This role involves maintaining safety in the MRI environment, assessing patients, and performing routine MRI procedures following safety protocols. The position also serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Compensation

Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates!

Shift

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 am to 7 pm

Qualifications
Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

Required: 6 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.

Preferred: Clinical MRI experience.

Certifications

Required: BLS from the American Heart Association, ARRT registered or unlimited state license, or equivalent certifications in related fields with an associate or bachelor’s degree in allied health. Also, advanced MRI certification within two years of employment is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and software.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures and technical language.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and travel between facilities.
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and blood flow hemodynamics.
  • Ability to assist with ultrasonic-guided interventional procedures.
  • Ability to provide culturally sensitive patient care.
Job Responsibilities

  • Explain procedures to patients.
  • Operate MRI equipment independently following protocols.

  • Perform quality control and regulatory compliance tasks.
  • Assist with departmental operations.

  • Perform additional duties as required.
