This job assesses patients and safely performs advanced radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. Leads departmental programs, acts as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students, and assumes routine supervisory duties in the absence of the team leader.

Required - Completion of a radiologic technology program in an AMA approved school.
Required - 5 years of radiologic technologist experience.
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Licensed by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly to move objects. The physical demands exceed those for sedentary work. The job involves walking, standing, and working at a production pace, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues, and working directly with patients and specimens that may contain diseases. There is an occupational risk of exposure to hazardous materials and infectious agents.
