Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiological science program.
• Must be ARRT or ARMRIT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MR certification within one year of employment.
• Maintain current BLS competency.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients, verify identity, obtain history, ensure patient safety and understanding.
• Operate MRI scanners, interpret protocols, and adjust scanning parameters; assist with troubleshooting.
• Administer IV and oral contrast per protocol and assess eligibility.
• Transmit and verify images via PACS/EPIC/EMR; ensure correct charge capture and demographics.
• Support workflow, precept new staff, maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with research tasks.
