Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist I for a part-time weekend role in Charlotte, NC. You will operate MRI scanners and related equipment, prepare patients, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications include ARRT MRI registry eligibility, CPR certification, and completion within 1 year of hire. The position includes a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Active enrollment in MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• CPR certification required and MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and equipment per department protocols.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; ensure safety and comfort.
• Review orders with Radiologist and document contrast administration.
