Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform procedures per departmental protocols and operate MRI equipment with high proficiency.

You will prepare patients, administer IV contrast, coordinate with Radiologists, and uphold safety standards. The role features a 36-hour work week, a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, and comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Verifies orders and discusses with Radiologist before exams.
• Prepares patients and administers IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintains MRI safety and infection control standards.
• Documents procedures and ensures proper patient care throughout the exam.
