Job summary

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte invites an MRI Technologist I to join the MRI department. You will operate MRI scanners and related equipment, verify orders with Radiologists, and prepare patients for exams in accordance with department protocols.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility and CPR certification, with a 36-hour work week, weekend shifts, and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry eligibility required within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Verify orders with Radiologist before exams and document patient data.
• Prepare patients for procedures and administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety and assist during procedures as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and support other radiology staff.
