Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I to join the CNSA: Charlotte - Radiology team in a part-time role with weekend shifts. The position requires operating MRI scanners, preparing patients, and coordinating with radiologists.

Qualified candidates must have ARRT radiologic or nuclear medicine credentials, MRI registry eligibility, CPR certification, and a strong focus on safety and patient care. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine technology degree.
• MRI ARRT registry eligible or ARMRIT program required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners per departmental protocols and standards.
• Identify patients and verify orders with radiologist when needed.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and document in the EMR.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain safety and infection control in all MRI procedures.
