Job summary

Atrium Health and Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) are seeking an MRI Technologist I in Charlotte, NC. The role operates MRI scanners and related equipment, following protocol to ensure accurate studies and patient safety.

Weekend days Fri/Sat/Sun 8a-4p, part-time 24 hours/week, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Pay range $35.50–$53.25 per hour and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI registry eligible; must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and document patient information.
• Prepare patients and obtain a complete medical history.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Assist in invasive procedures and provide code blue support as needed.
