Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a welcoming radiology team. You will operate MRI equipment to image anatomy and physiology in diverse patients and assist physicians with diagnosis.

Care for patients across ages, uphold safety and quality standards, and work under the supervision of a Radiologist. No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred. ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT training required.
• BCLS certification required.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under supervision to assist diagnosis.
• Provide patient care to diverse age groups—from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Follow prescribed standards and radiologist guidance during imaging procedures.

Education

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
