Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams and support physicians in diagnosis. You will provide patient-centered care across neonatal to geriatric patients under the Radiologist’s supervision.

The role requires completing an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited training, with no experience required and a preference for at least 6 months of MRI experience. ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS are required upon hire.

• 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across all ages from neonatal to geriatrics while imaging.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
