Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations and provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.

The role requires an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration upon hire, BCLS certification, and a preference for 6 months MRI experience; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• No experience required is acceptable; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration upon hire; BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists image anatomical/physiologic conditions with MRI under supervising Radiologist guidance and provide patient care across all ages (neonatal to geriatrics).

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
