Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join its radiology team. You will perform diagnostic MR examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering patient care across all ages.

The role emphasizes adherence to imaging standards, safety, and excellent patient communication. No experience is required, with 6 months preferred; ARDMS/ARRT and BCLS certifications are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration upon hire; BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols during MRI procedures.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
