Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for PRN roles at Boot Ranch and Trinity, FL. You will produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety and protocol adherence in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Required ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, CPR/BLS; minimum 3 years technologist experience; strong customer service and multi-tasking skills; travel to multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications from AHA/ARC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images in line with protocols and ARRT/ARMRIT standards.
• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening and access control related to zones and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Demonstrate competency with contrast safety and administration and use of EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems.
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
