Job summary

Candidates should have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a minimum of 3 years of technologist experience, CPR/BLS, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers per-diem coverage across multiple shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience.
• CPR/BLS from AHA or ARC; ACLS where applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images in accordance with imaging protocols and ARRT/ARMRIT standards.
• Perform contrast administration and related safety procedures per policy and regulations.
• Maintain EMR, PACS and DICOM systems for image sharing and interpretation.
• Train and orient new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants as needed.
• Ensure patient safety, pre-screening, and compliance with HIPAA.
