Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Dallas, Texas facilities in a PRN, part-time capacity. The role focuses on patient safety, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists.

You will demonstrate competency with MR equipment and contrast administration, while supporting site leadership and training new staff. Ideal candidates hold ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state licensure if needed, and at least three years of technologist experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT
• State license, if applicable required
• Minimum 3 years technologist experience
• Ability to work at several locations
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
• Local travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for Patient Safety and screening as necessary.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images following protocols.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers while maintaining HIPAA.
• Demonstrate competency in contrast safety and administration.
• Train and orient new technologists and staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
