Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at St. Mary’s Hospital to perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and support training initiatives. The role involves collaborating with radiologists and other staff, maintaining equipment, and upholding protocol standards.

The candidate will participate in supervision and education of MRI students, with focus on quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within our imaging department.

Qualifications

• Associate ARRT from an accredited institute preferred.
• MRI Registry from ARRT or ARMRIT is required.
• State licensure preferred where the job is performed.
• BLS from American Heart Association required at hire or prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and related equipment per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and positioning for optimal imaging.
• Assists in training and onboarding of staff and students.
• Performs quality control and maintains equipment readiness.
• Coordinates with radiologists and other staff for exams.
