Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist in Ohio. The MRI Tech operates the MRI system, performs scans per protocol, under Radiologist direction, and assists in training students.

You will ensure safety, position patients, administer contrast when required, and participate in quality control and collaboration with other modalities. Prior ARRT MRI Registry and BLS are required; state licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist with ARRT MRI Registry (or ARMRIT) is required.
• State licensure is preferred where required by the state.
• BLS from American Heart Association required at hire or prior to independent patient care.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and other registrations listed are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system, coils, and related equipment per protocol.
• Ensure patient safety, screen for metal objects, and explain procedures.
• Position patients, select scan parameters, and administer contrast when needed.
• Participate in education and onboarding of MRI students and staff.
• Contribute to department QA and collaborate with other modalities.
