Job summary

The successful candidate will hold ARRT MR certification or be registry eligible and have current BLS certification. Education must be from an AMA-Approved Radiographic technology program, with hospital experience

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT (MR) registry or registry eligible
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Education: Graduate of AMA-Approved Radiographic technology training
• Experience: 1 year hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• direct patient flow through the department,
• greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
