Bon Secours Mercy Health West Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an MRI Technologist for full-time days to operate MRI systems and support training initiatives. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate imaging, and collaboration with radiologists to fulfill exam requests.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, monitoring, and contributing to student education. ARRT MRI registration and hospital setting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• MRI Registry/Certification required or ARRT diagnostic radiology registration with MR registry upgraded within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI system and accessories to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain history/consent as needed.
• Participate in training and onboarding of new staff and students.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to meet exam requests.
• Maintain documentation and quality assurance per protocol.
