Job summary

Mercy Health in Richmond, VA seeks an MRI Technologist for St. Mary’s Hospital on a PRN basis. The role performs MRI exams, follows radiologist direction, and supports training of new staff.

You will position patients, manage contrast, ensure safety, and participate in quality assurance. Strong knowledge of MRI protocol and equipment, plus ARRT MRI registry, is preferred. This role offers a dynamic team and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• MRI Registry from ARRT or ARMRIT is required
• State licensure preferred
• BLS from American Heart Association required at hire for some locations

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system and related equipment per protocol
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and privacy during exams
• Perform IV injections and administer contrast agents as needed
• Ensure quality assurance and troubleshoot equipment as required
