Qualifications

• ARMRIT or RT(MR) certification and BLS required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in radiology with MRI training.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using immobilization and coil placement techniques.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines.
• Performs daily QC checks and documents in EMR/PACS systems.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification and consent.
