Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations and ensure patient safety. You will communicate with patients, educate families on procedures, and work with a team to maintain accurate EMR/PACS documentation.

The role requires MRI credentialing, BLS, and 1+ year radiology experience. Day shift, full-time, with benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT MR credential required (or in progress).
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year experience in radiology and MRI training.
• Proficient in patient education and safety procedures.
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and ready for use.
• Educate patients and families about MRI procedures and safety.
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment safely.
• Administer IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.
• Follow safety and time-out protocols before exams.
• Review patient history and contraindications for exams.
• Perform high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders.
