Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform scans and radiologic procedures per ARRT standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. You will prepare patients, document workflow in Meditech, and ensure imaging quality while maintaining patient safety.

The role requires ARRT MR certification, BLS, and a radiologic program accredited by JRCERT or AMA-approved. On-site work at St. David's North Austin Medical Center with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year MRI Technologist experience required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT/MRI program OR AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT MR certification.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to obtain cooperation.
• Complete required documentation on forms, logs, Meditech, and workstation.
• Administer contrast using proper technique.
• Produce scans of diagnostic quality.
• Label images and identify according to protocol; communicate to radiologist promptly.
