Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and radiographs following ARRT standards. You will deliver high-image quality, prepare patients, administer contrast, and communicate findings to radiologists.

The role requires at least one year of MRI experience, BLS, and JRCERT/MRI program graduation; ARRT MR certification is required. Join a renowned, patient-centered team at a major HCA facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Graduate of a radiology or MRI program accredited by JRCERT or AMA-approved program.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) certification.
• Current MRT certification with Texas MB (TMB) - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
• Complete required documentation on forms, logs, and Meditech.
• Administer contrast using proper technique.
• Produce scans of diagnostic quality.
• Label images and identify according to protocol.
• Communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist promptly.
