Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved program in Radiologic Technology
• Completion of courses in MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging and cross-sectional anatomy

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellence by producing MRI images of diagnostic quality for neonatal to geriatric patients
• Follow established scanning protocols and operate the MRI scanner efficiently
• Complete quality scans in a timely manner and prioritize workflow to meet STAT/urgent demands
• Demonstrate proficiency in scanning trauma and challenging patients with adjustable positioning
• Identify disease processes and communicate findings to Radiologist
• Maintain accountability for clinical responsibilities and MR safety practices
