Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for Richmond Community Hospital to perform MRI procedures per protocol. You will collaborate with radiologists, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, data entry, contrast administration, and trainee supervision. Prior MRI experience and ARRT/ARMRIT registry are expected; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MRI department experience (preferred).
• License: MRI Registry (ARRT) or ARMRIT; BLS required at hire.
• State licensure preferred; training and supervision of students may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system per established protocols under Radiologist guidance.
• Position patients, input data, and select scan parameters.
• Ensure safety, monitor patient comfort, and manage IV injections/contrast.
• Participate in training of new staff and student education.
• Support QA, maintenance, and collaboration with other departments.
